On 17th June 2023, WelcomeMe participated in Little Sutton’s community fair. During the event, we sold donated crafts, flowers, and hosted an engaging tombola game. Our efforts were successful, raising £216.97 for the organization. Additionally, the fair provided an excellent opportunity for WelcomeMe representatives to interact with local community members, sharing information about the organization’s mission and activities. The community fair increased WelcomeMe’s visibility and connections. The booth attracted visitors interested in the organization’s services and programs. Representatives shared information and highlighted WelcomeMe’s commitment to supporting newcomers. The fair also allowed WelcomeMe to forge new partnerships with like-minded organizations, opening doors for future collaborations. The event raised funds and demonstrated the community’s support for initiatives promoting inclusivity and integration. WelcomeMe plans to build on this momentum.
